Bylaws
The founding charter and internal rules of the Brazilian Society of Information Design
The SBDI Bylaws set out the nature, objectives, governance structure, membership categories and Permanent Institutional Initiatives of the Brazilian Society of Information Design.
The current version was approved by the Extraordinary General Assembly of August 2026, in the same session in which the 2026–2028 Board took office. The text updates SBDI's regulations in line with the development of scientific, academic and professional activity in the field.

History of the Bylaws
SBDI has had four sets of Bylaws since it was founded. The earlier versions are kept here as a record and are no longer in force.

Approved by the Extraordinary General Assembly of 4 August 2026.

Dated Rio de Janeiro, 13 September 2013, and registered on 10 February 2017. It changed the Board's term from two to three years and moved the legal seat to Rio de Janeiro.

Signed in Curitiba on 27 April 2007. It moved the legal seat from Recife to São Paulo.
