Held alongside the Information Design International Conference (CIDI), the Mostra brings together information design projects. Its website presents the current edition and the 2021 edition.

Project shown in 2021: UNA-SUS/UFMA game(PDF, in Portuguese, 12,5 MB) (opens in a new tab)

Poster description

The poster presents the graphical interface and mechanics of a serious game for health, made for a clinical case by UNA-SUS/UFMA. The game follows the stages of a consultation: introducing the patient, medical history, physical examination, further tests, diagnosis and treatment. At each stage, the player talks to the patient, orders tests and chooses between paths of higher risk and reward. The outcome adds up humanity, skill, health and money. The challenges are diseases, patients change with each game, and each action gives haptic, visual and sound feedback. Correct answers move the game forward, and mistakes hold it in place. The poster also shows the icons for each stage (speech bubble, stethoscope, blood drop, checklist and capsule), the illustration style of the patients and game screens on a phone, such as the diagnosis screen.
